US Bishops New Vocation Website
A new Web site, www.ForYourVocation.org, is being launched by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops in conjunction with the World Day of Prayer for Vocations. The Web site has two objectives: to help individuals hear and respond to the call by God to the priesthood or consecrated life, and to educate all Catholics on the importance of encouraging others through prayer and activities to promote vocations. The site offers resources for men and women who may have a vocation to the priesthood or consecrated life, aids for promoting a vocation-culture within the home, and tools for educators, youth leaders and vocation directors including prayers, videos, best practices, lesson plans and vocation awareness programs. The website will also be available in Spanish.
This project being funded through the generous donors of the Catholic Communication Campaign. Please note that the Web site will not be active until April 24.

La Conferencia de los Obispos Católicos de EE.UU. lanzarán su nueva página de internet www.portuvocacion.org en conjunto con el Día Mundial de Oración por las Vocaciones. Los objetivos de la misma son: ayudar a las personas a escuchar y responder el llamado de Dios al sacerdocio y la vida religiosa, y educar a todos los católicos en la importancia de motivar a los demás en la promoción de las vocaciones por medio de la oración y actividades. En la página podrán encontrar muchos recursos tanto para personas en discernimiento y para personas que desean promover las vocaciones en sus parroquias, grupos juveniles, hogares, etc. Parte de los recursos incluye oraciones, videos, mejores prácticas, lecciones, programas y mucho más.
La página web estará abierta el día 24 de abril. La Oficina de Vocaciones de la Arquidiócesis de Galveston-Houston ha distribuido posters a todas las parroquias. Este projecto a sido llevado a cabo por la generosa contribución de Catholic Communication Campaign.
