Vocation Expo! is a one day event to assist Pastors, Vocation Directors, Parish Vocation Committees, DREs, Youth Ministers and all others  interested in working promoting vocations.  The activities include practical advice from members of long-time, successful Parish Vocation Committee members, useful information about working with young adults and college students, time for Parish Committees to work on Action Plans, Exhibits by Religious Congregations, and explanation of Parish Vocation Committee Manuals. Expo de Vocaciones –  Es un evento de un día para apoyar a todo el liderazgo de la arquidiócesis, sacerdotes, religiosas/os, directores de ministerio hispano y educación religiosa, catequistas, coordinadores de grupos juveniles y todos los interesados en promover las vocaciones sacerdotales y religiosas, con recursos, talleres en español e inglés, grupos de discusión, ideas, oración, paneles, y charlas inspiradoras. Café Catholica

Every summer, the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston invites all young adults for a weekly event on the first four Mondays of July to increase their knowledge of their faith and to provide resources to take to their school, workplace and to their families. Mass, free dinner and a great speaker. The office of Vocations supports Café Catholica and has a display booth to give more information about the priesthood and religious life to young adults. Houston Vocations participates in summer conference for teenagers  AYC by promoting our retreats, gatherings and dinners to invite teens to be active in their discernment and consider the priesthood or consecrated religious life for their lives; to pray for their vocation and be open to what ever the Lord is calling them to serve Him with.
