Viet Nguyen, prior to seminary, worked as a registered dental hygienist for five years. He first began to consider the priesthood in the summer of 2015 after hearing a call to vocations at Café Catholica. The call resonated with him as he was, at that time, at a crossroads in his life, career, and education. The recent death of his ex-girlfriend, a profound longing for deeper fulfillment in life, along with many other factors lead him to deeper discernment of his vocation and eventually entrance into seminary formation.
