What:
The Adventure is an experience of The Spiritual Exercises of St Ignatius of Loyola specifically designed and adapted for men and women ages 19 to 26. The Exercises are an experience of prayer designed to get one’s life in order. They can be made anytime in one’s life; nevertheless, there is no question they are tailor made for the college years, when virtually all life-determining options, and life-derailing mistakes, are made. The Adventure seeks to open hearts and minds to include God in choices, decisions, and commitments.
The Adventure is a serious retreat. A deeply personal experience, the Adventure invites retreatants to enter silence, helping quiet and calm the noise and chaos of life. Silence makes you available to listen carefully and deeply, so that when it is time to speak there is something important to say.
The Adventure is guided by Jesuits, in other words, by those who have been there. It is the ‘next good thing’ deepening the Awak¬ening, Search, Kairos, or other parish and campus retreat experiences.
