Bishop Joe Vasquez will celebrate the 5:00 PM Saturday Mass at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart. This will be our official kick-off celebration of National Vocation Awareness Week. All are cordially invited.

Our Mission

The Archdiocesan Vocation Office is an apostolate offering a range of services that begins with encouragement of the community’s awareness and support of vocations to priesthood and religious life in the Church and continues with helping an individual discern the correct nature of his or her call.

The Archdiocesan Office of Vocations consists of the Vocation Director and Associate Director. Its ministry is two-fold: to promote a general climate throughout the Archdiocese favorable to Church vocations through awareness/education on all levels; and to strive to increase the quality and number of archdiocesan priests. This Office provides services for men and women interested in the priesthood and religious life through Life Awareness Weekends, Explore, Insight and discernment days.
