I was born in San Antonio, TX, and grew up in the spirituality of communion of the Focolare Movement where I internalized the co-essentialness of the Marian and Petrine profiles of the Church. In particular, for over 25 years in the movement, I had a very strong, unique and ongoing experience of the ‘royal priesthood’ while striving to make God-Love the ideal of my life. After I moved to Houston I started working as the Programs Coordinator for the Archdiocesan Office of Vocations and Seminarian Support. Seeing first-hand how needed priests were in this wonderful and growing Archdiocese, the calling to ministerial ordination became stronger than ever. In communion with my Focolare brothers and sisters, Fr. Clint Ressler, and Fr. Dat Hoang, I became a seminarian for this Archdiocese. Mary will continue to be my model.
