I migrated to America when I was 5 years old and I have always been fascinated by the beauty of nature and the mysteries of the universe. I spent the majority of my life in Houston where I progressed in my studies and knowledge of the world. Confronted with the secular world and the empty promises of materialism, I soon found myself abandoning the faith altogether. Eventually, after graduating from High School my best friend Andrew Pham enter Holy Trinity Seminary in Dallas and slowly began to instill in me leadership skills as well as reintroducing the splendor that the Holy Mother Church had to offer. Like a sponge, I soaked it all in and was received back into the Church on Thanksgiving of 2008. Guided by the Spirit I worked hard to achieve my goal of attending the University of St. Thomas. However, overwhelmed by the grace of God after a mission trip to Guatemala, I was opened to His will which lead me to the possibility of the Priesthood of Jesus Christ. By taking this decision I would not be doing God a favor, but rather He would be doing me a favor. I understand that my story in itself is unique and there lies many challenges ahead of me. Yet I am comforted by my love, faith and fidelity to God’s Providence that I desire only to seek His will under the patronage of our Blessed Theotokos.
