MICHAEL MCFALLSt. Theresa Church, Sugar Land, TX
Pre-Theology II
St. Joseph Seminary College, St. Benedict, LA

I was born and raised in Jasper, TX as the youngest of 5 children, three brothers and a sister. I was raised on a farm where we grow vegetables and raise cattle and honeybees. My family has always been active in parish life. Growing up, I served as an altar server and was active in my parish youth group. I graduated from Lamar University with a BA in Psychology. I have felt God calling me to the priesthood since I was in high school. After graduating from college, I spent 6 months volunteering in Honduras working at an orphanage with the Franciscan Friars. I enjoyed serving the poor of Honduras and being a good role model for the orphans. My time in Honduras made a big impression on me which led me into becoming a seminarian. I entered St. Joseph Seminary College for the Fall semester in 2009. I am currently the Student Government President of the seminary college which is a big responsibility that is a challenge but also very enjoyable. My favorite Bible verse is, “If God is for us, who can be against us? (Rom 8:31)” Please pray for me and all of the other seminarians who are in discernment for the priesthood.
